Principal’s Message

Principal Dominguez brings dedicated passion to Montara Elementary School, inspiring our TK-4 Roadrunners to be Responsible, Observant, Cooperative, and Kind.

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

Welcome to Montara Elementary School, home of the Roadrunners! At Montara, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to provide high-quality instruction, build meaningful relationships, and create innovative opportunities that inspire students to BELIEVE in themselves, embrace challenges, and achieve their full potential.

Through our focus on Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and strong family partnerships, Montara fosters a culture of excellence, kindness, and continuous growth. We proudly welcome all students and families to the Montara community and look forward to partnering together to ensure every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Together, students, staff, and families work as one team to help every Roadrunner rise up and thrive.

Warm regards,
Robert Dominguez | Principal
